![]() App interface pushes scores too much, I want to see the metrics. If you finger shrinks till the ring is lose, it's likely to rotate and you'll lose the ability to track your vitals. For the ring to work, it has to be in the same position all the time. Here's the thing about your fingers, they change a lot of in size during the same day.Quite a bit more expensive than other fitness trackers, you're paying the premium for the finish and form factor.Again, I've been wearing both devices side by side, with a fitbit squeezed in every now and then, and the metrics always land within the same range. Absolutely great battery life for something this size.Only Fitness Ring option that's both mature and ready for use. ![]() And even if I could get those in a separate service, I want to see more science and studies on the accuracy of them. Bundling/locking these things to a physical tracker doesn't make any sense. Everything that's offered, the body fat scanner, tone analysis, and workouts, could all be offered as a stand alone app. That being said, I won't be renewing the subscription or using the device long term. I feel for the price it's right where it should be performance/quality to dollar. But once you turn on tone analysis, there's no straight forward way to turn it off. It has no screen and no smart functions, still struggles to get more than 2 - 3 days. Absolutely the worse battery life I've ever experienced from a portable device in my life. Biggest issue though, by far, is the battery life.Consistently said I burned about 10 to 20% less. Compared to fitbit, oura, myfitnesspal, apple health or anything else I could find. Neither is an apples to apples comparison, but the experience was humbling. It's also higher by about 5% when I calculate body fat using measurements + weight. My home scale that I've used for a while put me a full 10% lower than what Halo came up with. I work remotely and take my calls on a headset, rendering the feature null. Tone Analysis really needs to hear both/all parties to get an accurate read.Seemed to be an artificially high step count. Step count was consistently higher than my Oura Ring, sometimes by as much as 2,000 steps.App interface is generally clean and very usable. ![]() It's niche features of Tone Analysis and Body Fat Scanner are very unique, I haven't seen these features anywhere else. ![]()
